Ahsan Manzil – Tourist Place in Dhaka


Ahsan Manzil, also known as the Pink Palace is one of the most popular historical tourist place in Dhaka city. It was once residential palace of the Nawabs (Landlords) of Bengal. It is located at Kumartoli along the banks of the river Buriganga. Ahsan Manzil is one of the top attractions in Dhaka city. It also resembles a very significant part in the history of Bengal.

Local Transportation

You can visit Ahsan Manzil from anywhere of Dhaka. Take a local bus to Sadar Ghat. From there you can take a small rickshaw ride straight to the gate of Ahsan Manzil. Any local rickshaw puller can take you to Ahsan Manzil from SadarGhat in about 10 minutes.
